In a small jewelry workshop in Zimbabwe unique jewelry is handmade from natural seeds and pods collected from wild Savannah Forests , tastefully designed and skillfully handcrafted using a variety of very time-consuming methods. The pods and seeds are pierced or drilled and then dried. Artistically arranged and finally threaded. Due to the seasonality of seeds and pods, and the handmade form of the craft, no two pieces are ever quite the same. Type and availability is determined by what seeds and pods are in season. Some are natural colors and some painted and the effect is absolutely stunning.
